What's new in Keep Your Word 1.5
Keep Your Word 1.5 brings many new features. These are some of them:
Support for declensions. |
|

Or, if you prefer, verb conjugations, or word suffixes, or... whatever you like. The point is that every word can have many different "sides", not only the four that where available until now. |
New integrated word inspector. |
|

The Word Inspector is no longer a separate window. Now it is integrated into the main interface. The information available is divided into three different areas: text, media, and metadata. |
Support for audio files. |
|
![]() |
Two different audio files can be assigned to every word. Those two audio files can be also played when exercising the flash cards. And their existence has been added as a new criterium to declare Smart Groups. |
New Document Layout Configuration sheet. |
|
![]() |
If you do not like the "their word/your word" idiom, just change it. Name the two main "sides" of a word as you like. Also, control what you want to see in the word list. This configuration is now saved into the dictionary, instead of being an application wide parameter, as it was before. |
More flexible flashcards configuration. |
|
![]() |
There is a third option in the "text only" flashcards: showing both the main text and the alternative one. |
Mark flashcard as "right answer" or "wrong answer" . |
|
![]() |
When browsing the flash cards, they can be marked as "hey, I knew that" or as "I had no clue". This is the first step to implement one of the new features of the coming version: a new predictive algorithm to select the flash cards that will be showed. |
